6% EDDHA Iron Chelate description

2、What are the benefits of 6% EDDHA Iron Chelate Fertilizer

2.1 Fast and long-term correction of iron deficiency chlorosis

Foliar spraying turns yellow leaves green within 3-5 days. When applied via soil drip irrigation or root drenching, it remains active for 4-6 weeks in alkaline soils above pH 7.5. It can supply available iron through root application even in soils with pH as high as 8.5 to cure chlorosis caused by poor root absorption, fundamentally preventing recurring yellowing issues.

2.2 Greatly boost photosynthesis, improve crop yield and quality

It not only increases chlorophyll content, but more importantly restores the ultrastructure of chloroplasts and enhances photosynthetic efficiency. After correcting iron deficiency, the single fruit weight, sugar content and vitamin C content are significantly improved.

2.3 Strengthen plant vigor and enhance cold, drought and disease resistance

Correcting iron deficiency turns weak nutrient-starved plants into robust ones, indirectly improving tolerance to early spring cold spells and summer drought, and reducing diseases such as downy mildew caused by poor plant growth.

2.4 Unique Iron Shuttling Mechanism: Activate Soil Nutrients for Long-lasting Absorption

EDDHA acts not only as fertilizer but also as an iron transporter in soil with recyclable properties. It does not release iron in one go after application. EDDHA molecules form a microcirculation around crop roots. Roots absorb reduced iron ions, then free EDDHA ligands recapture immobilized iron and deliver it to roots again. This mechanism ensures a lasting efficacy of 4-6 weeks. It also optimizes rhizosphere environment and activates fixed phosphorus, zinc, manganese and other nutrients in soil indirectly.

2.5 Excellent Photostability and Chemical Stability

It is barely subject to photochemical degradation under sunlight. EDDHA iron maintains stable chelating structure even under intense sunshine, ensuring efficient iron delivery to target parts and avoiding fertilizer loss caused by rainfall and strong light.

2.6 Flexible Multiple Application Methods Suitable for Modern Agriculture

2.6.1 Root application (most recommended)

Drip irrigation, flood irrigation and hole application, featuring highest utilization rate and longest lasting effect.

2.6.2 Foliar spraying (fast yet cost-inefficient)

Only recommended as emergency remedy for severe iron deficiency chlorosis due to cost factors.

2.6.3 Base application

Mix evenly with organic fertilizer or fine soil for band placement or hole placement.

6% EDDHA Iron Chelate Applications

5、Application of EDDHA FE 6% Alkaline Soil Iron Fertilizer

Highly suitable for strongly alkaline soils (pH≥7.5) such as calcareous and saline-alkali soils, ideal for fruit trees including citrus, apple and grape, leguminous crops, peanuts, vegetables and more.

Perfect for iron-deficiency sensitive crops: blueberry, strawberry, soybean, citrus, etc.

Diversified application methods: Its core advantage lies in soil application, especially root drenching, drip irrigation and base fertilization.

6、Precautions for Use of6% EDDHA Iron Chelate Fertilizer

Foliar spraying is recommended in early morning, evening or cloudy days to prevent leaf burn caused by high temperature and strong sunlight.

Conduct a small-scale compatibility test before mixing with strongly alkaline pesticides or copper preparations.

Store in cool and dry place, avoid moisture and caking.
