Chelated iron Fe 6% fertilizer special for citrus

What is eddha iron chelate?

Eddha chelated iron is a stable water-soluble metal chelate, high-efficiency, high-quality, super-active chelated iron. It is used as an organic trace element fertilizer in agriculture and is currently the most effective professional product in the world for treating plant iron deficiency and yellow leaf disease.

What is the use of EDDHA iron chelate?

Eddha chelated iron has a special chemical structure (molecular formula: C18H16N2O6FeNa), which can maintain the effectiveness of iron even in soils with high pH values, so it is particularly commonly used in alkaline or calcareous soils.

The main uses are:

  1. Prevent and correct iron deficiency symptoms

Iron deficiency can cause yellowing of plant leaves, especially new leaves, a condition called chlorosis. EDDHA chelated iron fertilizer can quickly replenish iron and restore plants to normal green growth. For example, when orange trees are iron deficient, new leaves often turn yellow, but the veins remain green. This is a typical iron deficiency chlorosis. EDDHA chelated iron can quickly provide stable iron elements, help orange trees restore normal chlorophyll synthesis, and improve leaf yellowing.

Yellow-leaf due to the Fe deficiency

  1. Promote photosynthesis in plants

Iron (Fe) is a key trace element in plant photosynthesis. Iron deficiency in orange trees will limit their photosynthesis efficiency. EDDHA iron chelated fertilizer can help orange trees better absorb iron and improve photosynthesis efficiency.

  1. Suitable for alkaline soils

Eddha iron chelation can also maintain the availability of iron in soils with higher pH values, so it is often used for crops in alkaline or calcareous soils. For example, if orange trees are planted in alkaline or high pH soils, traditional iron fertilizers are not effective because iron is easily fixed and cannot be absorbed by plants. EDDHA iron chelation can still maintain the availability of iron in alkaline soils above pH 7, which is very suitable for orange trees planted in such soils.

  1. Improve fruit quality

The iron supply of orange trees during growth directly affects the size, color and flavor of the fruit. By using EDDHA chelated iron, the yield and quality of the fruit can be improved, and the fruit will be fuller, more colorful and taste better.
